Warranty conditions for Germany
Cloer grants registered private users a limited first-owner warranty. The prerequisite for the purchase of the warranty is that the device was purchased in Germany and the serial number of the product was registered in the regular customer portal at https://service.cloer.eu/register/ by a private user. In addition, a copy of the proof of purchase with the date of purchase and dealer proof must be filed with the product registration and the registration must be made no later than 6 months after the date of purchase. The warranty is only for the private first owner and therefore expires with subsequent resale.
The warranty period is 2 years and starts on the date the product was first purchased by a user. The warranty period will not be extended by repair or replacement of the product, nor will it be renewed or otherwise affected. With careful treatment and observance of the operating instructions as well as the safety instructions, we undertake to repair the device free of charge, as far as material or manufacturing defects are concerned. The repair is carried out by repair or replacement of the defective components. Replaced parts become the property of the company Cloer. A refund of the purchase price is excluded. Further claims of any kind, in particular claims for damages for consequential damages arising from this warranty, are excluded.
Excluded from the warranty are damages caused by improper use, natural wear or tear, external influences (e.g. transport damages, impacts, blows, heat exposure, acids, or similar), lack of descaling* or unsuitable accessories. The warranty expires if the device has been used for commercial purposes, opened unauthorized, modified or if an unauthorized repair attempt has been made.
There will also not be any warranty for consumables and wear parts.
For the use of warranty services, registered customers will always initially contact our factory customer service via telephone or e-mail or start a repair request in the online portal. Please do not send any devices without being requested. In particular, parcels may never be sent without postage. These are not delivered by the parcel services, but returned to you for a fee. This warranty does not affect any rights customers have under the applicable national laws regarding the sale of goods (warranty). These are to be asserted exclusively to your dealer (seller).
