Warranty Terms and Conditions for Germany

Cloer offers registered private users a limited first-owner’s warranty. To be eligible for the warranty, the appliance must have been purchased in Germany and the product’s serial number must have been registered by a private user on the customer portal at https://join.cloer.com/registerProduct by a private user. In addition, a copy of the proof of purchase showing the date of purchase and the retailer’s details must be submitted during product registration, and registration must take place no later than 6 months after the date of purchase. The warranty is only valid for the original private owner and therefore lapses upon subsequent resale.

The warranty period is 2 years and begins on the date on which the product was first purchased by a user. The warranty period is neither extended nor does it restart nor is it otherwise affected by repair work or the replacement of the product. Provided the appliance is treated with care and the operating instructions and safety instructions are followed we undertake to repair the appliance free of charge, provided the fault is due to a material or manufacturing defect. Repairs are carried out by repairing or replacing the faulty components. Replaced parts become the property of Cloer. A refund of the purchase price is excluded. Further claims of any kind, in particular claims for compensation for consequential damages arising from this warranty, are excluded.

Excluded from the warranty are damages resulting from improper use, natural wear and tear, external influences (e.g. transport damage, knocks, impacts, exposure to heat, acids or similar), a failure to descale* or the use of unsuitable accessories are excluded. The warranty shall lapse if the appliance is used for commercial purposes, opened without authorisation, modified or if an unauthorised repair attempt has been made. No warranty is provided for consumables and wear parts either.

To make a claim under warranty services, registered customers must always first contact our factory customer service by telephone or email, or submit a repair request via the online portal. Please do not send any devices unsolicited. In particular, parcels must never be sent carriage forward . These will not be delivered by the parcel services but will be returned to you at your expense. Therefore, please speak to us first. We will tell you how to send your appliance to us. This warranty does not affect any rights customers may have under applicable national laws governing the sale of goods
